Swiss team Jenzer Motorsport has revealed its four-man line-up with little over one week ahead of the start of the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps season.
The line up consists in Swiss driver Kevin Jorg, Russian Denis Korneev, Singaporean Andrew Tang and German Prinz Max zu Schaumburg-Lippe.
Jorg placed second and third overall in the Swiss Kart Rok Cup in 2008 and 2009 respectively, in 2010 he became the Swiss Junior Kart Champion and was second in the BMW Talent Cup. Then he moved to the Formula Abarth Mediterranean series which he won. Last year he competed in Formula Abarth and became the second best placed rookie and was sixth overall.
Denis Korneev obtained fourth place in the Russian Rotax Kart Championship in 2009. In 2010 he won the Russian KF2 Cup and placed second in the championship. He continued in karting for 2011 and this time won the Russian KF2 Championship, and placed eighth in the German KF2 Championship. In 2012 he entered the prestigious Auto Sport Academy and placed 11th overall in the French F4 Championship.
Andrew Tang won the 2011 Asian kart series Formula 125; in 2012 he placed fourth in the FIA-CIK KF2 Kart Series. This year he competed in the Toyota Racing Series for the entire season with the ETEC Motorsport team, placing 15th overall with a best finish of sixthin the third race of the Hampton Downs round.
Prinz Max zu Schaumburg-Lippe began in kart racing placing third and first overall in the Rotax Mini in 2008 and 2009 respectively; for 2010 he moved to the Swiss KF3 kart championship in which he placed third. In 2012 he raced in Formula LO with a limited schedule for Jo Zeller Racing Team, participating in the last three rounds. He placed seventh overall with a best finish of 5? place in the second race of the Hockenheimring round.
These four drivers will participate in the 2013 Season of the Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Championship which is due to start in April 7 in Vallelunga Circuit.?
