Cammish takes win eleven after Scott gets jump-start penalty

by Peter Allen

Dan Cammish was passed for the lead at the start of the second Formula Ford GB race at Oulton Park by Harrison Scott, but the rookie’s chances of becoming the first driver to beat Cammish this season were ended by a drive-through penalty for a jump start.

Once in the lead, Cammish was able to cruise to his eleventh win in a row. South African series debutant Jayde Kruger?was a strong second, three seconds behind Cammish.

Camren Kaminsky drove to his first podium since the Brands Hatch season opener in third, just ahead of JTR team-mate Sam Brabham.

Nico Maranzana finished fifth with the recovering Scott in sixth. James Abbott was the last of the finishers in seventh, with Andy Richardson and Juan Rosso retiring after Rosso clattered into the former at the hairpin early on.
